Manika Vishwakarma Crowned Miss Universe India 2025

In a dazzling finale held in Jaipur, 22-year-old Manika Vishwakarma from Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan, was crowned Miss Universe India 2025. With this victory, she will proudly represent India at the 74th Miss Universe pageant in Thailand later this year.

Manika Vishwakarma Crowned Miss Universe India 2025

The crown was passed on by last year’s winner, Rhea Singha. Outshining 48 contestants from across the country, Manika secured the top spot, while Tanya Sharma (Uttar Pradesh) and Mehak Dhingra (Haryana) finished as the first and second runners-up, respectively.

Beyond Beauty: Advocacy and Purpose

Manika’s win is not just about glamour—it reflects her commitment to women’s education and neurodivergence awareness. As the founder of Neuronova, she actively works to change societal perceptions about conditions like ADHD, framing them as unique cognitive strengths rather than limitations.

Currently residing in Delhi, Manika is completing her final year in Political Science and Economics. She was previously crowned Miss Universe Rajasthan 2024, and her artistic pursuits are equally impressive—trained in classical dance and an accomplished painter, she has earned recognition from the Lalit Kala Academy and the JJ School of Arts.

A Powerful Voice on Women’s Education

In the final Q&A round, Manika delivered a compelling answer, highlighting the transformative role of women’s education in breaking cycles of poverty and empowering communities. Her authenticity and eloquence struck a chord with the judges and audience alike.

After the crowning moment, Manika expressed heartfelt gratitude to her family, teachers, and community, attributing her success to the encouragement she received rather than struggles alone.

Carrying Forward India’s Legacy

With her victory, Manika joins the prestigious lineage of Indian women who have shone on the Miss Universe stage—Sushmita Sen (1994), Lara Dutta (2000), and Harnaaz Sandhu (2021). As she prepares for Thailand this November, expectations are high for her to continue India’s legacy on the global platform.

The Miss Universe India organisation praised her intellect, charisma, and social consciousness, describing her as the perfect blend of beauty with purpose. For Manika, this crown is more than a title—it is a chance to become a global ambassador for social causes, cultural dialogue, and empowerment.
